Heritage Open Days 2014: Community Spirit

Blog for Norwich HEART – Aviva Community Fund/Heritage Open Days campaign, April 2015

Norwich HEART

2014 saw our biggest and best Heritage Open Days (HODs) yet, with over 220 events taking place all across Norfolk and Norwich. HODs allows people to connect with their heritage for free, bringing our history alive for all.

In this video, you can find out what HODs does for communities from some of those who made it happen in 2014. Michael Loveday and George Norman talk about the importance of volunteers, while Dr Eshetu Wondimagegne shares what the Norfolk African Community Association allotments mean to him.

Help us unlock heritage for communities in Norfolk and Norwich this year, by voting for us in the Aviva Community fund – your vote matters, and our heritage matters.
